Collection and Storage of Personal Data and Purpose of Use

1. Visiting the Website

When you visit our website www.rec3.com, the browser on your device automatically sends information to our website server. This information is temporarily stored in a so-called log file. The following information is collected without your involvement and stored until automated deletion:

  • Website from which the access occurred (referrer URL)

If you have any questions, we offer you the opportunity to contact us via a form provided on the website. In this case, it is necessary to provide a valid email address so that we know who the inquiry is from and can answer it. Additional information can be provided voluntarily.

The data processing for the purpose of contacting us occurs based on Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a GDPR on the basis of your voluntarily given consent.

3. Transfer of Data

Your personal data will not be transferred to third parties for purposes other than those listed below.

We will only transfer your personal data to third parties if:

  • You have given your explicit consent to this according to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a GDPR,
  • The transfer is necessary for the assertion, exercise, or defense of legal claims according to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR, and there is no reason to assume that you have an overriding legitimate interest in not disclosing your data,
  • There is a legal obligation for the transfer according to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. c GDPR, or
  • The transfer is necessary for the performance of a contract with you according to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. b GDPR.

4. Use of Vimeo

We use Vimeo for embedding videos. Vimeo is operated by Vimeo, Inc., 555 West 18th Street, New York, New York 10011, USA.

When you connect to one of our websites equipped with a Vimeo plugin, a connection to Vimeo’s servers is established. In the process, Vimeo will be informed of which of our pages you have visited. Vimeo will also receive your IP address. This applies even if you are not logged in to Vimeo or do not have an account with Vimeo. The information collected by Vimeo is transmitted to the Vimeo server in the USA.

5. Use of Google Analytics

6. Use of Meta-Pixel

This website uses the Meta-Pixel, an analytics service provided by Meta Platforms, Inc., 1601 Willow Road, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA ("Meta"). Meta-Pixel enables Meta to show our ads on Facebook, known as "Facebook Ads," only to users who have visited our website, especially those who have shown interest in our online offerings. Meta-Pixel also allows us to verify if a user was redirected to our website after clicking on our Facebook Ads. Meta-Pixel uses cookies, which are stored on your computer and enable the analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Meta server in the USA and stored there.

In particular, you may request information about the processing purposes, the category of personal data, the categories of recipients to whom your data has been disclosed or will be disclosed, the planned retention period, the existence of a right to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, or objection, the existence of a right to lodge a complaint, the origin of your data if it was not collected by us, and the existence of automated decision-making including profiling and, if applicable, meaningful information about its details;
  • Request the correction of incorrect or incomplete personal data stored by us according to Art. 16 GDPR;
  • Request the deletion of personal data stored by us according to Art. 17 GDPR, as long as the processing is not necessary for exercising the right to freedom of expression and information, for compliance with a legal obligation, for reasons of public interest, or for the assertion, exercise, or defense of legal claims;
  • Request the restriction of processing of your personal data according to Art. 18 GDPR, as long as the accuracy of the data is contested by you, the processing is unlawful, but you oppose the deletion and we no longer need the data, but you need it for the assertion, exercise, or defense of legal claims, or you have objected to the processing according to Art. 21 GDPR;
  • Receive your personal data, which you have provided to us, in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format, or request the transfer to another controller according to Art. 20 GDPR;
  • Withdraw your consent once given to us at any time according to Art. 7 para. 3 GDPR. This will result in the future cessation of processing based on this consent, and
  • Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority according to Art. 77 GDPR. In general, you may contact the supervisory authority of your usual place of residence or workplace or our company’s place of business.

8. Right to Object

If your personal data is processed based on legitimate interests according to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data according to Art. 21 GDPR, as long as there are reasons arising from your particular situation, or if the objection is directed against direct marketing. In the latter case, you have a general right to object, which will be implemented by us without the need to provide specific reasons.

9. Data Security

We use the common SSL (Secure Socket Layer) procedure during your website visit in connection with the highest encryption level supported by your browser. Usually, this involves 256-bit encryption. If your browser does not support 256-bit encryption, we use 128-bit v3 technology instead. You can recognize whether a particular page of our website is transmitted in encrypted form by the closed padlock symbol in the lower status bar of your browser.

We also use suitable technical and organizational measures to protect your data from accidental or deliberate manipulation, partial or complete loss, destruction, or unauthorized access by third parties. Our security measures are continuously improved in line with technological developments.
